Sumana Hari has experience working with college students, children, adults, and couples with the objective of facilitating self-awareness and building life skills to cope with different challenges they come across and live meaningfully with better adjustment. She is currently working at Parivarthan Counselling Training and Research Centre, National Law School of India University, Indian Statistical Institute and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics as a Counsellor.

She has an M.S in Counselling and Psychotherapy, from Kuvempu University (2014), Certificate in Counselling (Parivarthan, 2013), Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling (Parivarthan, 2014), Certificate in Couple and Family Counselling (Parivarthan, 2014) along with a PG Diploma in Personnel Management (2002). She is also certified in Integral Somatic Psychology (2019).
