Gayitri Bhatt
Gayitri Bhatt moved into the field of mental health after several years of practice of Medicine as an Anaesthesiologist. She did the BSIC at Parivarthan in 2002 and later qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist at Sherwood Institute, Nottingham, UK. She holds an MSc in Psychotherapy Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK. She is also trained in trauma-informed approaches such as EMDR and Integral Somatic Psychology which equip her to help people with Complex PTSD and Dissociation. Her other areas of interest include Adoption attachment and Indian Psychology.
Gayitri has been a faculty member at Parivarthan since 2005 as a trainer and supervisor for counsellor development programs. As a therapist, she works with adults, couples and children. Besides English, she is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, and Kannada and manages some German too.
